why
Know Sweat exists to help students discover that they can make a difference in the lives of others through service. We challenge students to see things through God’s eyes and to look for ways that they can share their faith through action. This trips is a great way for students to see the needs that exist not just in the city where they served but back home as well. At the end of the week we hope you are passionate about serving not just for a week in the summer but daily in the community where you live

cost
The cost of the conference covers transportation to and from, lodging, registration, materials, and food at Know Sweat and a trip to Newport Aquarium. (You will need to bring money for approximately two meals at fast food style restaurants and money for souvenirs.)

needs
Bible, Pen, Money for two fast food meals, snacks and souvenirs. A list of needed project materials will be available closer to the departure date. (i.e. paint roller, drop cloth, gloves, etc.) Please do not bring a cell phone.

security measures/supervision
As always, Student Ministry will have a one-to-five ratio of leaders to students. Meeting in small family groups ensures that everyone is accounted for before each event.

contact numbers
Due to the type trip we will be taking, please do not contact your student on the trip unless there is an emergency. If there is an emergency, contact the church and they will be able to get in immediate contact with the team.
