My name is Allison Ellsworth. Here's a little background: My new husband and I just graduated from Spring Arbor University and moved here from Michigan so my husband could go to Asbury Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity degree. During this time, I will need a job so we can cover basic living expenses.
I am willing to work anywhere in Lexington, Wilmore, or Nicholasville. The type of jobs I am looking for are either part time low-key ministry opportunities, or office/clerical/secretarial type jobs. I have lots of prayer and worship ministry experience and have led worship in many different settings (main instruments are piano and voice, a little bit of guitar). As far as the office skills go, I am very familiar with Microsoft Office programs. I can work on either a PC or a MAC. I am a good typist, can answer phones and maintain a polite disposition with the public. I am a fast worker and can also work on projects unsupervised.
I have worked at Spring Arbor University in different settings--in the Academic Affairs Office as a student secretary, in the Alumni relations office as a phonathon caller, and at HOME.FM Radio Network as an afternoon DJ.
Other jobs include working as a pool deck attendant for Grand Rapids Parks & Recreation Department in Michigan, serving as a camp counselor for Michawana Youth Camp & Retreat Center in Hastings, MI, and also a cashier/server for Susie's Cafe in Grand Rapids, MI.
I have a variety of working skills, but to name my ministry experiences would make this post even longer. If you would like more information about me or if you would like a resume, e-mail me at allisonmellsworth@gmail.com or call at 517.331.4609
This might be the best thing I ever do, as I know the Southland family is one of the most generous and loving families I have seen yet! My husband and I are hoping to make it our home very soon :)
