This is a Southland Certified Ad School Partnerships

As part of Circles of Influence, Southland partners with local elementary schools. Currently we partner with Tates Creek Elementary School (in Lexington) and Warner Elementary School (in Nicholasville).

At each school we do mentoring and tutoring programs with students, volunteer in classrooms, have a weekend food backpack program, and encourage staff & teachers through monthly projects and a prayer team. We also involve other ministry areas in service at each school for one-time projects.

Volunteer opportunities align with the school calendar, so every fall we kick off new volunteer sign-ups and ask for mentors and tutors to commit to working with a student for one school year if possible. The food program starts shortly after school begins. Teacher & staff encouragement volunteers meet monthly during the school year to plan projects.
